I developed an interest in dentistry at an early age, and completed my dental education with distinction. I was part of the team at the UCLA Weintraub Research Center that invented ground-breaking technology in dental implantology and osseointegration. I then received further training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Boston University, where I was trained at both Boston Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
I have published articles in peer reviewed journals and am also an author of a book chapter. I am a board-eligible oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a member of multiple professional organizations:
- American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Virginia Dental Society
- American Dental Association
I enjoy the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and have special interest in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, office-based anesthesiology, and cosmetic procedures. I am also proficient in pathology/reconstructive surgery, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery, and facial trauma. I am certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
I live with my wife and our daughter. In my free time, I play golf and spend time with my family.
